Welcome to Central Austin Young Life!
Young Life exists to introduce kids to Jesus and help them grow in their faith. Young Life was started in Austin in 1968 and the Central Austin area was formed in 2009 and since has impacted thousands of kids by introducing them to Jesus and inviting them into a life of adventure and faith. Central Austin Young Life includes Young Life at Austin High School and Wyldlife at O. Henry Middle School.
What is Young Life?
Club
Each Monday night, students gather in Central Austin to attend a Young Life club! It’s loud, it’s crazy, and it’s a ton of fun. But more than anything, kids get to hear about Jesus from a Young Life leader at the end of the night.
Campaigners
Outside of club, kids have the chance to do a weekly bible study or “campaigners” with their leader where they learn to read the Bible, ask questions, and grow in their faith.
Camp
We invite kids into adventures of a lifetime with their leaders to get to experience new things and learn about Jesus along the way. We take multiple camp trips each year where students can bring friends and experience the best week or weekend of their lives!
